My hope is that fans see their favorite artists supporting the environment and want to get involved themselves.

A number of musicians have teamed up with outdoor clothing company Patagonia to release a collection of songs to help the environment. Each artist has donated a song or album to be sold online and in Patagonia stores with all proceeds going to an environmental charity of the artist’s choice. Pearl Jam supplied for a live version of “Oceans” that will benefit Conservation International Marine Programs. The title track of Jack Johnson‘s 2010 release To The Sea will help the Kokua Hawai’I Foundation.
